Role Overview Latinum HR is hiring an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical division for high-rise construction and real estate development projects across the UAE. This role requires strong engineering expertise, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven track record managing complex, large-scale building projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination across design, engineering, and construction functions.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the technical department, ensuring accuracy and quality across all engineering design and documentation. Review, verify, and approve technical drawings, construction methodologies, material submittals, and shop drawings. Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international engineering standards. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal project teams to drive project alignment. Provide strategic technical guidance during planning, design development, procurement, and construction stages. Identify design conflicts, propose engineering solutions, and mitigate technical risks proactively. Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to design intent, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. Support value engineering initiatives to enhance project cost efficiency without compromising quality. Prepare technical reports, engineering assessments, and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in a Technical Manager or senior engineering role within the UAE. Proven experience in managing high-rise building projects (mandatory). Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, permitting processes, authority approvals, and construction codes. Proficiency in engineering design and coordination software (Auto CAD, Revit, BIM, etc.). Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
