Ship Around, a fast-growing B2B maritime marketplace, is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our pneumatic fender (Trelleborg) business across the Middle East. If you understand the maritime/offshore landscape and are passionate about building commercial relationships, this role offers the opportunity to shape one of the fastest-growing segments in our marketplace.
About Ship Around Ship Around is a specialised digital marketplace that connects buyers with trusted vendors in the maritime and offshore industry. We help clients reduce manual procurement processes and access reliable solutions faster including pneumatic fenders, lifting equipment, safety equipment, mooring accessories and offshore consumables. We are expanding across the Middle East and Africa, supported by strong vendor partnerships with global manufacturers. What You’ll DoDrive sales of Trelleborg pneumatic fenders across the Middle East through the Ship Around marketplace. Build and manage a strong pipeline of vessel owners, STS operators, port authorities, shipyards, and marine service companies Prepare and deliver competitive proposals and quotations Promote Ship Around as the preferred procurement platform for marine equipment Stay ahead of market trends, tender opportunities, and fender demand in the region Maintain accurate reporting, CRM activity, and revenue forecasting What We’re Looking For3–7 years’ experience in marine/offshore equipment sales in the Middle East Strong network across GCC maritime and offshore sectors Knowledge of pneumatic fenders, marine equipment, or offshore products is a plus Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results Willingness to travel within the Middle East Why Join Ship Around?
