Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commis Chef ��� Hot Kitchen, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Hot Kitchen Staff will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of hot dishes as per Quince���s standards, including grilled, roasted, baked, saut��ed, and fried items. The role includes managing hot kitchen stations such as the grill, oven, stove, fryer, and saut�� section while ensuring consistency, high-quality food presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment is essential, as well as supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.
Qualifications Proven experience in a hot kitchen or similar culinary environment. Skilled in various cooking methods including grilling, roasting, baking, pan-frying, deep-frying, and saut��ing. Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and stoves. Preparing mise en place for all hot s, marinades, garnishes, and accompaniments. Ensuring all dishes are prepared according to company recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Monitoring cooking temperatures and times to ensure consistent food quality. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all hot kitchen workstations. Ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are sanitized before and after use. Managing food order slips accurately and ensuring timely service during busy periods. Monitoring inventory levels for hot kitchen ingredients and coordinating restocks as necessary. Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift. Adhering strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
